PROGRAM DETAILS FOR EHS PROGRAM ONLY

Cost For The First 12 Current EHS Students To Complete Registration

$475: Students 15-17 (Current EHS students pay $100 deposit, EHS pays remaining amount)

$685: Students 18+ (No discount)

$100 payment via debit/credit card is due when registering.

Schedule

The schedule provided is for class time only.

The six behind-the-wheel lessons are scheduled with the instructor outside of class time and will extend beyond the last class date.

Requirements

Students must obtain their permit prior to registration as the permit number and issue date are

required when registering.

Students must have a minimum of 15 hours of driving practice prior to their first behind-the-wheel

lesson.

The first class session is a mandatory parent/student meeting. All in-person classes will be held at EHS.

Summer 2026

August 11th – September 9th (No class August 18/19/20)

Tuesdays/Wednesday/Thursday 1-4pm (The last two classes will be 4-7pm)

IMPORTANT TUITION INFORMATION

The Driver Education program is a self-supporting program. The cost of the program is shared by student tuition and state reimbursement. To be eligible for state reimbursement, thus receiving the reduced tuition price, the student must be 15-17 years of age and have a valid Oregon permit. If a student is 18 years old, turns 18 prior to completing the program, obtains their license prior to completing the program, or they drop the course, they are NOT eligible for state reimbursement and must pay the additional tuition amount of $210.
